SCIENTIFIC OUTREACH
- Cleantech to Market, a class offered in the Haas business school at UC Berkeley, brings together graduate students, principal investigators, and professionals to evaluate emerging technologies from Berkeley Lab and UC Berkeley for market potential. It was piloted by BERC (Berkeley Energy and Resources Collaborative), an organization that brings together graduate and undergraduate students from across campus interested in energy-related careers, and the tech-transfer department at Berkeley Labs.
- Cosmos Education is an organization that teaches basic science, especially applied to health and sustainable development, in elementary and high schools in Kenya and Zambia.
