Fred "Ted" Tomlin hails from the great state of Washington. A precocious youth, Ted could often be found tussling his hair softly and engaging in saxophone battles with the local children. While attending Whitman College, Fred worked with Professor Marion Götz on natural product analogues with medicinal chemistry applications. Fred came to Berkeley after discovering that chemistry really is way better when the weather is gorgeous and sunny all of the time. He even hopes to one day go outside and see what all of the fuss is about. When he's not busy turning out iTunes-topping hits or working at his hood, Fred can be found napping in various lecture halls and classrooms around Latimer Hall.
