Jack Lee

Jack was born in Taiwan and moved to Canada during his high school years. He completed his undergraduate degree at the Simon Fraser University. Under the supervision of Professor Peter Wilson, he worked on projects involving the total synthesis of natural products. He then later on moved to the University of Alberta to complete his Ph.D. study under the supervision of Professor Dennis Hall. During this period, he worked on the syntheses of various optically enriched and unsaturated organoboronate compounds. In 2013, he moved to the Sarpong group working on the total synthesis of diterpenoid alkaloids.
