Rod-Coil Block Copolymer - Nanoparticle Composite for Solar Cell Applications

Research description:

Brief Bio:

I grew up in the Olympia, Washington and enjoyed playing sports (football and basketball mostly) as well as many outdoors activities such as fishing, hiking, and camping. Attended the University of Washington and graduated with BS in Chemical Engineering along with minors in math and chemistry. During the time at UW, I worked on undergraduate research on polymer rheology (Overney Lab) and colloids (Berg Lab). I also worked at my family’s plant tissue culture nursery for most of high school and college as well as Clorox for a summer as a product design intern. When not in lab I enjoy stealing donuts from chemistry colloquiums, playing sports (basketball mostly these days), hiking, and just sitting around and relaxing.
