For some experiments, external devices need to be controlled as part of a pulse program. The following partial list shows the available RCP lines. Some are used if the system is equipped with gradiet control.

Needing a level to control an external device, we ended up using rcp9. Rcp9 is assigned to the y-gradient wave form memory increment.

* Rcp 4 in some consoles (ECL 3 to 6 according to MCI schematics) is wired to Router Analog Z, with ECL 7 & up to Back Panel PB1 Z.

* Rcp 7 is used in some consoles (ECL 3 to 6 according to MCI schematics) to control soft-hard pulses.
