3PEPS measures the "memory" of a system. It has been used extensively to study solvation dynamics. It is also an incisive tool in the study of energetically disordered systems, exploiting the disorder to determine energy transfer timescales, electron-phonon coupling, and the degree to which the disorder is correlated.
