My research area is solid phase peptide synthesis and the screening of biomolecules. On the basis of my experience, I joined the projects of solid phase biocatalysis and high throughput multizyme chip in the Clark lab.

i) Solid phase biocatalysis is facile to produce new chemical entities (NCEs) due to easy separation of product. NCEs can be produced variously and chemoselectively by successive enzyme reactions on the solid support.

ii) The main goal of high throughput multizyme chip project is the toxicity screening of metabolized products from NCEs. Co-working with Dordick group (RPI), prototype of toxicity screening system was successfully verified by combining MetaChip1 (multizyme chip) and DataChip2 (cell chip). We are expecting to open a new paradigm of in vitro toxicity test in a high throughput manner.
