Studies of adsorption separation processes for liquid mixtures – using different adsorbents in batch and fixed bed assays.

Studies of separations processes in the food industry – microfiltration, ultrafiltration and pervaporation of different kinds of mixtures to concentrate and recover specific components; the evaluation of operation parameters.

Improved mechanisms of asphaltene deposition, precipitation and fouling to minimize irregularities in production and transport - The main objective is to create knowledge and understanding needed for reliable assessments of precipitation/deposition risks during oil production and transport.
