I am interested in theoretical modeling of heterogeneous catalysis. Examples of my previous research include hydroxylation and water dissociation at the TiO2 surface, structure of liquid water at the MgO surface, CO oxidation catalyzed by CeO2 doped with Au, and thermodynamic equilibrium of vanadium oxides supported on TiO2 and CeO2. Currently I work on modeling of precursors for MEG production catalyzed by zeolites, and on methanol oxidation catalyzed by supported vanadia.
