What is AIChE?
AIChE is a national organization tailored towards exclusive career and personal financial benefits and addressing the needs of its members. AIChE provides free national membership for students through its ScaleUP program. From national AIChe that means real
world experience with internships from the sponsoring companies, eligibility for more than $50,000 worth of scholarships (including some specific to our Berkeley chapter), job search material, free interactive tools and familiarity with software along with much more.

Berkeley Chapter Information
The American Institute of Chemical Engineers, UC Berkeley Student Chapter aims to give support and guidance to the students within the College of Chemistry throughout their academic careers here at Cal. We do this by serving as the medium through which students can interact with industry, the college, as well as their peers. Industry, we are always engaged with companies to provide students opportunities to interact and to learn from industry leaders and innovators. Often, this is done through company infosessions and workshops. College of Chemistry, we are the official representation of the Chemical Engineering student body to the college. Your concerns are our concerns. Peers, we provide support for freshmen and transfer students through our ongoing mentorship program.
Furthermore, we also provide resources to students, such as our growing online testbank and online job/internship listings- just to name a few. As our organization continues to grow, we will strive to provide our members with more resources for their continued success in their college years, as well as future endeavors.
