Welcome to Berkeley AIChE!

        The UC Berkeley Student Chapter of AIChE is dedicated to providing its members with experiences beyond the usual classroom education. As a professional society, we arrange opportunities for students to build a network of contacts in academia and in industry. Throughout the year, Berkeley AIChE hosts a range of infosessions with companies like Dow, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Valero, Genencor, Clorox, Proctor and Gamble, LifeTechnologies... just to name a few. And these companies are all interested in hiring fulltime and interns from Berkeley. Basically, you guys! As a student organization, we help develop leadership skills and give students the chance to improve their teamwork skills. Whether you're interested in industry or graduate school, AIChE provides the resources you need to succeed as a chemical engineer at Berkeley.

        We are very proud of our college's curriculum and professors. We also take great pride in our chapter. The 2009-2010 AIChE year was successful in continuing the excellent programs started in the past and our chapter looks forward to the opportunity to improve on past accomplishments. With great officers along with superb industry cooperation, the 2010-2011 school year looks promising.
